Josiah Moutray, DDS

Dr. Moutray sought out employment at Eldon Family Dentistry due to their patient-centered approach and commitment to providing excellent dental care. He is able to provide all levels of care already available at Eldon Family Dentistry and excels at camouflaging restorations to match the natural tooth as well as comfortable tooth removal. He is very eager to build relationships with patients and help them achieve a healthy smile!

Dr. Moutray is from St. Joseph, Missouri. He majored in Health Sciences at the University of Missouri where he served as the President of the Pre-Dental Club. Dr. Moutray graduated in 2015 with the Latin honors of Magna Cum Laude, then began his dental education at Creighton University. During dental school he distinguished himself by conducting research on ways to reduce Alzheimer’s Disease by treating oral bacteria as well as learning advanced clinical skills like extraction of wisdom teeth, veneers, and root canal retreatment. Dr. Moutray also volunteered in prevention programs in Omaha elementary schools and completed externships at Federally Qualified Health Centers. These accomplishments allowed Dr. Moutray to graduate in the top third of his class with excellent reviews from clinical faculty.

Dr. Moutray is married to his wife, Katelyn, who works in the tech industry. They have an Aussiedoodle and enjoy hiking in the Ozarks. He is an active member of his church community and his hobbies include, disc golf, hunting, fishing, and golf.

Brittany

Brittany is the Office Manager at Eldon Family Dentistry. In addition to ensuring all our patients’ appointments and treatment considerations are arranged, she manages business operations, human resources, and finances. She has over 16 years of experience in the dental field and is familiar with all aspects of care which enables her to be a wealth of knowledge to our patients.

Brittany is originally from Tuscumbia and is very involved in the Eldon community. She enjoys family time, boating, watching her kids play sports, and being outdoors.

Haley CDA, RDH

Haley is a Registered Dental Hygienist and she joined Eldon Family Dentistry in 2015. She focuses on oral disease prevention and treatment, but has extensive knowledge of many aspects of dentistry. Haley helps patients learn how to be healthy and tailors her discussions to each patient’s specific needs.

Haley graduated from Kaskaskia Community College as a Certified Dental Assistant in 2004. She furthered here education by attending in Lewis & Clark Community College majoring in Dental Hygiene. In 2005, she graduated and earned the “Golden Scaler Award,” given to the top student in the class. Haley has worked in Illinois and Missouri as a dental hygienist, garnering accolades for her thorough yet gentle technique.

In her spare time, Haley enjoys spending time with her two kids on Lake of the Ozarks and powerboating with her husband.

Whitney, RDH, BSDH

Whitney is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been with Eldon Family Dentistry since 2017. She graduated from State Fair Community College with honors in 2014, earning an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She continued her education while working full-time and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2016. 

Whitney’s clinical focus is disease prevention and overall health. She holds several certifications which allow her to provide education and therapies tailored to each patient’s individual needs. Whitney is very active in the local community in order to help promote general health and well-being.

Whitney grew up in Tuscumbia on her family’s farm and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She likes reading, softball and traveling to new and exciting places. Whitney is a member of the Tuscumbia Christian Church.

Tasha, RDH

Tasha graduated Eldon High School and the served in the Army Reserves for 6 years. She completed two deployments and received an honorable discharge and other awards. Tasha launched her dental career at Kaplan College (California) where she became a Registered Dental Assistant. While working full-time she returned to school and earned a Dental Hygiene degree at Concorde Career College in 2014. Tasha returned back to the Eldon area in 2020 and joined the Eldon Family Dentistry team in 2021.

She enjoys empowering patients with tips that are easy to do and make a big difference to their dental health. Her goal is to be as gentle and thorough as possible so patients will look forward to their next appointment!

While not in the dental office Tasha enjoys being outside in all the elements making memories and traditions with her family. She regularly completes projects that involve painting, epoxy, and wood burning. Additionally she is also getting involved with beekeeping!

Jennifer, RDH

Jennifer is a Registered Dental Hygienist and she brings over 20 years of experience to our team. She has a strong desire to help each patient get healthier.

Jennifer graduated from Parkland College (Champaign, IL) and practiced hygiene until moving to Missouri recently. She joined the Eldon Family Dentistry team in 2023 and in her spare time likes lake living with her family and friends.

Cierra, CDA, EFDA

Cierra Morris is a graduate of School of the Osage and earned her dental assisting from State Technical College of Missouri in 2015. She has advanced training and certifications in working with crowns, bridges, dentures, and filling. Cierra joined Eldon Family Dentistry in 2019 and she loves helping people, whether they’re in pain or just want something different with their smile.

In her free time Cierra likes to spend time with her husband, two sons, and blue heelers. Her hobbies include riding horses, kayaking, or just sitting by a bonfire.

Elizabeth, CDA, EFDA

Elizabeth is a dental assistant with expanded functions. She joined Eldon Family Dentistry in 2021 after teaching dental assisting at State Technical College of Missouri the previous four years. She really enjoys interacting with patients and helping them get the smile they have always wanted.

Elizabeth graduated from both Iberia High School and Nichols Career Center. She lives on a cattle farm with her husband and three children. Her hobbies include boating, camping, and coaching her daughter’s softball team.

Addison

Addi is a 2022 graduate of Eldon High School and a 2023 graduate of State Technical College. She joined Eldon Family Dentistry as a dental assistant in 2023 as well. Addi assists dentists during procedures like fillings, crowns, and extractions, but most importantly she helps ensure patients have the most comfortable visit possible!

Addi enjoys being with her family and friends. She enjoys being on the back of her boyfriend’s motorcycle and finding good restaurants.

Kelly, CDA

Kelly has been key employee since the beginning of Eldon Family Dentistry in 2013 and is the office’s Financial Coordinator. She is an Eldon High School alumna and maintains her Certified Dental Assistant credentials which were earned at Nichols Career Center in 2007. In addition to helping with clinical procedures, Kelly also has expert knowledge of scheduling, dental insurance, and records. Kelly loves that Eldon Family Dentistry helps provide a service to the community.

She is a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eldon and loves spending time with her family. Kelly spends her free time camping, fishing, canoeing, traveling and raising honey bees.

Heather

Heather is our New Patient Coordinator and she joined Eldon Family Dentistry in 2023, bringing over 20 years of experience in dental administration to the team. She is an expert in dental insurance and coordinating treatment and she loves meeting people!

Heather lives in Tipton with her husband and four children. She loves to be on the lake in the summer, spend time with family and friends, cooking, and learning history.

Scout

Scout is the Patient Greeter and is the friendly face who can help you get everything prepared for your dental appointment. She joined the team in 2023 and enjoys helping people every day!

Scout is from Tuscumbia and a graduate of State Fair Community College. She enjoys time with family, friends, and her dog, Frankie.
